Medical study on the effectiveness of the treatment method for craniovertebral dysfunction

The treatment of craniovertebral dysfunction using the Body Balance Clinic method consists of two mandatory procedures:
During the first procedure, the muscles of the upper cervical spine are treated for spasms and fibrotic formations, resulting in improved function of the cervical spine and joints of the head. The thoracic and lumbar regions of the spine undergo intensive antifibrotic treatment, which helps to improve the position of the body's center of gravity.
The second procedure provides anti-inflammatory and neuro-regulatory effects on the neck and body muscles, leading to the restoration of muscle tone, the complete recovery of cervical spine function, and the body's center of gravity.
To statistically evaluate the effectiveness of the method, a comprehensive medical study was conducted. Over two years, from 2022 to 2024, 1,022 patients underwent two correction sessions at two Body Balance Clinic centers in the Czech Republic: in Prague and Ostrava.
Data collection was done in written form. Patients filled out a questionnaire, the doctor reviewed the data, and during a subsequent conversation with the patient, made notes. After the conversation, the patient signed a confirmation that the information recorded was accurate. The first treatment session followed. The second session was conducted within one to five months. A year after the treatment, patients were invited for a follow-up questionnaire following the same procedure.
The questionnaire included more than 20 complaint fields (e.g., neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, knee pain, headaches, insomnia, and migraines). Patients were asked to indicate the frequency and intensity of each of their complaints before and after treatment.
A total of 1,022 people participated in the study, including 649 women and 373 men aged 19 to 74. The accuracy of the analysis results is +/- 5% (confidence level 95%).
The treatment process was monitored by third parties, namely doctors from various specialties, who oversaw the research process, analyzed, and statistically evaluated the obtained data. More than 30 doctors signed in support of the study conducted by Body Balance Clinic.

Summary table of the treatment method study for craniovertebral dysfunction by Body Balance Clinic

Below is the table of treatment effectiveness. Dark green indicates the likelihood of complete symptom disappearance, green indicates a relief of symptoms by more than 50%, light green indicates relief of symptoms by 20% to 50%, yellow indicates no change in the situation, and red indicates the likelihood of worsening of the current condition.
The research data was published in the October issue of the Czech medical journal Causa Subita in 2024.
